Building Capacity for Responsible AI Adoption Across the Safety Net

The HAIP Practice Network Program helps safety-net healthcare delivery organizations build the knowledge, tools, and partnerships needed to evaluate and implement AI safely, effectively, and ethically.

Through technical assistance, peer learning, mentorship, and practical resource development, the Practice Network Program supports organizations at different stages of AI adoption while building capacity that can extend beyond individual implementations.

• Inaugural program: HAIP provided technical assistance directly to safety-net healthcare delivery organizations (HDOs) across the U.S., generating valuable insights into the real-world facilitators and barriers to responsible AI adoption.
• California program: Building on these lessons, HAIP is partnering with trusted state and regional safety-net networks to strengthen their AI implementation capacity, enabling them to support and scale responsible AI adoption across their member organizations.
