Vaibhav Jha is an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia. Vaibhav is studying sociology, French, and data science, with research interests in quantitative methods in the social sciences. A summer intern at HAIP in 2024, Vaibhav contributed to HAIP through writing the monthly Research Rounds and newsletters. He also ran the team’s social media pages (kicking off the @haip X profile!) and helped coordinate the Health AI Hubs. Vaibhav thoroughly enjoyed his time working with HAIP, gaining a greater understanding of what working towards ethical AI involves.
