Oita Coleman

Oita Coleman, as Project Lead / Senior Advisor at the Open Voice TrustMark Initiative, leads the global Linux Foundation project dedicated to establishing open standards and best practices for conversational AI technologies. In her role, she leads the formulation and implementation of an ethical framework that safeguards individuals’ privacy rights, adheres to relevant global laws and regulations, and minimizes risks for all stakeholders. Within the larger AI community, she serves as a member of the National Institute of Health Bridge2AI – Voice Advisory Board, consisting of global voice data and AI experts whose aim is to integrate the use of voice as a biomarker of health in clinical care.

In her prior role, she held the position of R&D Vice President at SAS Institute, leading the global software quality division, focused on high-quality product delivery, while also overseeing the implementation of processes, standards, and policies to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
