Andrea Downing is the Co-Founder of The Light Collective and a prominent advocate for patient rights in the digital age. She helped lead The Patient AI Rights Initiative, a pioneering effort focused on establishing patient-led voices in the development of Health AI. Andrea’s focus is at the intersection of health privacy, cybersecurity, and the empowerment of patients, aiming to create a healthcare system that respects and prioritizes patient autonomy and rights of patient communities. Andrea is also a board member of CancerX, a public-private partnership dedicated to boosting innovation in the fight against cancer.
