Dan Brown

Dan Brown, MPH, PhD is a data scientist and public health researcher at Contra Costa Health Services. He leads the data science team there in implementing innovative machine learning and artificial intelligence projects across the health delivery network. His research focuses on the impacts of social and behavioral care on patient health and system effectiveness. Prior to Contra Costa Health, Dan worked as a data scientist at Anthem.ai, Apple, and UC Berkeley. Dan received his BA in Chemistry from Pomona College, his MPH in Biostatistics from Columbia University, and his PhD in Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
