Speaker

Yolande Pengetnze, MD, MS

Dr. Yolande Pengetnze (pronounced Pen-Get-Zeh) is a pediatrician, physician scientist and VP of Clinical Leadership at PCCI, with more than 25-year experience in clinical and healthcare leadership, leveraging advanced analytics, technological innovation, and care transformation to promote community health equity.

Cesar Termulo, Jr., MD

Since the completion of his residency, Dr. Termulo’s goal as a doctor has been to medically serve the indigent population. Starting from residency with travel on mission trips to treat people in third-world countries, to his primary care work with the underserved inner-city population of Dallas, to his present position as Associate Medical Director at Parkland Health Community-Oriented Outpatient Clinics (COPC), he has strived to work within public health systems from both a front-line and administrative position to improve community health.

Dr. Termulo currently serves as the Associate Medical Director and provides medical leadership over the Central (Hatcher, Jubilee, and Geriatric Clinics) and Eastern (Garland and Vickery Clinics) Regions of COPC (Community-Oriented Primary Care) of Parkland Health. The Parkland COPC network is the largest public ambulatory primary care system in Dallas, serving a large population of diverse, low-income patients. He is Chair of the Pediatric Quality Committee, which establishes system-wide processes to improve care. He routinely works with the clinic medical leaders, the pediatric providers, the clinical support staff, and the administrative staff, creating a framework for regular meetings and communication. Dr. Termulo also would like to make a difference in the ever-expanding epidemic of pediatric asthma in our clinics. Most clinicians feel overwhelmed addressing the needs of asthma patients, as most doctors do not have sufficient time for the analysis and education of their patients. With insight into the administrative needs and culture of Parkland’s facilities, he can facilitate collaboration and communication among the targeted primary care clinics and providers.
