Keo Shaw
Keo Shaw is a DLA Piper lawyer who advises life sciences, technology and healthcare clients
on a range of regulatory, compliance and transactional issues. Keo has particularly rich
experience advising on digital health technologies. She has a neuroscience degree from the
University of Cambridge and is dual-qualified as a lawyer in the US and the UK, bringing an
international outlook to her practice. Keo is part of DLA Piper’s FDA Regulatory and AI
practices, regularly advising and publishing on legal issues arising from the application of novel
medical technologies.
Before joining DLA Piper, Keo was senior health products counsel at a multinational technology
company. In that role Keo advised business teams and executive management on complex
legal and regulatory risks relating to app-based and wearable health technologies, including
supply and development agreements, human subjects research and clinical trials, regulatory
authorization for software as a medical device, product marketing, distribution and post-market
issues.
